EXCELLENT Based on 21 reviews Susan Law2024-07-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Marica is a wonderful teacher - each week she targets a different group of muscles, often using different equipment which she provides, to make the classes inventive as well as challenging. I have attended Marica's pilates class regularly for a few years and find it helps me greatly to be aware of and correct my posture . ( which is not the best due to many years working in dentistry ) Last weekend I did a Fascia release workshop , really helps to target knotty areas, especially neck and shoulders. This knowledge gives me something to work with at home which is very helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a supportive way 😁 J Edwards2024-06-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Until I started Weekly Pilates classes with Marica several years ago, I had absolutely zero concept of what Pilates was all about. That soon changed as her classes changed me from being able to even bend & touch my toes to now a perfect model of flexibility. Marica has the ability to make the lessons enjoyable and at the same time to make you push & extend your limits in a very professional manner - you can even find muscles you never realised existed. If anyone is looking for a Pilates instructor either in a class format or in an individual one-to-one basis, then I would highly recommend Marica. I especially enjoy the occasional use of props and fascia release practice. I always walk away feeling good! Marica creates a warm and friendly environment and gives technical support which is really helpful. Her passion for this work shines through her teaching. I enjoy these classes a lot! A well qualified instructor who is friendly, approachable and very helpful especially to newcomers. Her classes are always interesting, varied and enjoyable and I can highly recommend her to anyone who is considering taking up Pilates to improve their posture, flexibility and general wellbeing. I have been attending Marica’s Pilates classes for quite a few years now in Bridgnorth - she is an excellent & very knowledgeable teacher! I love the fact that Marica will always come round and correct us, even just the slightest position or movement, it makes such a difference - it’s so easy to fall into bad habits. I feel that her classes are really beneficial (especially as we age!!) to maintain balance & to strengthen our core and muscles. The classes are never boring, always something a little different each week and can be quite challenging at times - which is good of course, so easy to become complacent! Absolutely hate it if I ever have to miss a class - and certainly notice a difference the following week. Totally recommend her classes. :-) Neil Davies2023-10-25Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. From Karen Davies. We attend Marica's pilates classes at Quatt. She varies the movements for every class so it is always interesting and challenges mind and body. She frequently checks on us all to make sure our movements are correct, and will make suggestions to accommodate any physical problems we may have. I highly recommend her teaching, a most enjoyable morning.
You need to bring your own mat, Marica will provide all the props to make the Pilates class more varied and enjoyable.
After contacting via website, I will send you the medical form to fill that in. Once I have received the completed form and prior payment, you can attend the class.
You don’t need a previous experience, most of the classes are mixed abilities where you will be assisted for some variations and modifications of that Pilates exercise. There are also beginners and intermediate classes more tailored for your fitness level.
The class last an hour.
Olit or Holistic training is a combination of Pilates, Yoga, Tai Chi movement. This class is set to music and it’s a slow pace. There are few difference between Olit and Pilates; in Olit the music it’s important as it’s a dance class, that means we follow the bit of the music as we swap from one movement to another. Also it’s a mainly standing class whilst Pilates it’s a mainly a mat work. Both have the main aims to improve skills like; muscle strength, sense or coordination, flexibility, sense of balance and sense or rhythm.
The group sessions are more general focused to create joints and spine mobility as well as muscle and core strength. One to one sessions are based on a person’s needs that means the programme of exercises are organised to achieve his/hers personal goals.
